Hey Carmel Valley, I'm Jakob, Owner of Klean and Fresh Housekeeping. I started Klean and Fresh Housekeeping cleaning homes on my own for folks who needed help. I realized many people struggled to find a reliable house cleaner.
Homes were still left messy, streaky, with little accountability to make up for missed spots or the homeowner's wasted time and money. Clients were being upsold upon arrival. Cleaners would show up hours late (if at all.) Unnecessarily harsh chemicals would ruin surfaces and gas out homeowners.
I began to earn trust and referrals between the homeowners I worked for all by just providing quality home cleaning and not committing these sins (or making up for it when my footing did inevitably slip.) After a lot of hard work I have over 300 five star reviews, 6 housekeepers working for me, have an A rating with the BBB and last year earned the 2025 Thumbtack Top Pro for housekeeping in San Diego.
Since then I've moved my team's home base to the Carmel Valley area in order to provide reliable services to the many professionals and parents who live here.
My three years of cleaning homes goes into the oversight and training of every crew member on my team.
